both fighters
The highly anticipated title fight between UFC
welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns is finally here.
This will be Usman's first defense of his title
since he won it back in December 2019, and he'll be looking to cement his place
as one of the best welterweights in the world with a win over Burns.
Meanwhile, Burns will be looking to spoil Usman's
party and become the new UFC welterweight champion. He's on a five-fight winning streak, with his most recent win coming against former champion Tyron
Woodley.
Both fighters are extremely talented and it's going
to be a great fight. Here's a round-up from the camps of both fighters leading
up to UFC 278.
Usman's camp:
Usman has been training hard for this fight and is
confident that he'll be able to retain his title. He believes that his
experience will be the key factor in this fight, and that he knows what it
takes to win a five-round championship bout.
Burns' camp:
Burns is also confident heading into this fight. His
camp believes that he has the better striking game and that he'll

Main fight: Demetrious Johnson vs Henry Cejudo
The current UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious
Johnson will be putting his title on the line against the current UFC
Bantamweight Champion Henry Cejudo. This will be a major fight as it will be
the first time that two reigning champions from different weight classes will
be fighting each other.
Cejudo is a former Olympic gold medalist in
freestyle wrestling and is considered to be one of the best grapplers in the
UFC. He has only lost one fight in his MMA career and that was against
Demetrious Johnson back in 2016.
Johnson is extensively considered to be one of the
best pound-for-pound fighters in the world. He has an incredible record of
27-2-1 and is on an 11-fight winning streak. He has beaten some of the biggest
names in the sport, including John Dodson, Joseph Benavidez, and Kyoji
Horiguchi.
This is going to be an incredibly instigative fight
between two of the best mixed martial artists in the world. Be sure to tune in
on April 13th to see who comes out on top!
Main Card Bout: Sergio Pettis vs Jussier Formiga

This is a fight between two great fighters. Pettis has amazing cardio and is really really tough. Formiga is a guy who is really good at submissions, plus he is always trying to improve his game. The winner of this fight will be bone who performs better on the night. Pettis has good takedown defense, but Formiga is good at taking him down. Pettis is very good at landing strikes, but Formiga is very good at defending them. Pettis is also very good at defending submissions, but Formiga is also good at submitting him. I think Pettis is going to try to throw strikes from the outside and avoid the takedowns, while Formiga is going to try to take him down and submit him. I think Pettis will be able to avoid the takedowns and win a decision.
Sergio Pettis, who is currently on a 9 fight win streak, is looking to continue his streak against Formiga, who is on a 10 fight win streak of his own. These fighters are high-flying freestyle performers as Pettis is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Formiga is a Black Belt in Judo and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt. Both fighters have a good chance at winning this fight and the winner will likely get a title shot in the Flyweight Division.
Pettis is a striker by trade and will look to keep Formiga on the outside with his jab and kicks. Pettis will also look to utilize his superior wrestling and grappling to control the fight on the ground. Formiga is primarily a grappler and will look to keep the fight standing and utilize his kicks to keep Pettis at a distance.
